The essay matters. It is never the whole story.
College admission decisions reflect the full student: academic preparation, course rigor, activities, recommendations, institutional priorities, personal context, and much more. The students represented here earned their acceptances through years of work, growth, curiosity, and contribution. Their essays did not create those accomplishments; they helped admissions readers understand the person behind them.
I share this list because families often ask whether I understand highly selective admissions, a wide range of institutions, and the demands of different application processes. These results reflect experience helping students present strong, cohesive applications while protecting the most important thing: each student’s authentic voice.
